President John Evans Atta Mills says government will ensure that revenue from the oil find is accounted for and used for the benefit of all. He remarked that government will provide the needed framework for investors to have good returns on their investment. He however appealed to investors and potential ones in the oil and gas industries to be transparent in their operations.

President Mills said this when he received officials of the ENI Petroleum Company, an Italian Oil Company which is in the country to invest in the oil field.

The Chief Executive office of ENI S.P.A. Petroleum Company, Paolo Scaroni, said the company has returned to Ghana to invest in oil production after assisting to build the Tema Oil Refinery which was nationalized in 1975.

Also at the castle to express interest in investing in the country's oil was John Hess, Chief Executive of John Hess Petroleum.
