THE CENTRAL Regional Minister, Ama Benyiwa Doe says government is committed to ensuring development projects reach all parts of the country to boost the goodwill it has received from the people.

She noted the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government will honour campaign promises it made to Ghanaians during the 2008 general elections.

Addressing a durbar of Chiefs and People of Denkyira as part of an official tour to assess the extent of damage caused by recent flooding, the Regional Minister said government will co-ordinate with traditional rulers to ensure its development agenda is executed to benefit the people.
Madam Doe appealed to Ghanaians to bury their political differences and support government to develop the country.

She said that her doors were open to all persons in the region, irrespective of political affiliation adding she had come to serve the state and not a particular political party even though she is a leading member of the NDC.

Acting President of the Denkyira Traditional Council, Nana Tete Frankoma III, appealed to the Regional Minister to prioritize construction of deplorable roads in Denkyira in her development agenda.

Nana Frankoma asked her and government to intervene in the case between the Dunkwa Continental Goldfields Limited led by Chris Kapor and Nananom over who has rights to property belonging to the defunct company.

The Regional Minister toured the flood areas where she interacted with the affected people.
