The two men who supervised Ghana’s 50th independence anniversary celebrations could be charged with various offences on Wednesday.

Joy News has learnt that the two, former Chief of Staff, Kwadwo Mpiani, and the CEO of the Ghana@50 Secretariat, Dr. Charles Wereko-Brobby, have been asked to report to the police headquarters Wednesday.

It is likely they will be formally charged when they respond to the invitation, sources tell Joy News.

The charges will relate to their disbursement of funds for various expenses for the 50th independence anniversary celebrations.
