IMANI urges government to use oil funds to explore other resources

IMANI Ghana is proposing the use of revenue from oil to exploit the other natural resources available in the country.

The policy think tank is concerned that the prominence being given crude oil could result in the neglect of more valuable resources.

Senior fellow at IMANI, Kofi Bentil was speaking at a forum to dialogue on the proposed oil revenue management bill.

Mr. Bentil also mentioned the manufacturing and services as two sectors with great potential if properly developed and urged government to also focus more attention on those key areas.
