Mr. Kwabena Adjei Agyepong, one-time press secretary to former President J.A. Kufuor and leading member of Alan Kyeremanten campaign team has said that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government, led by President Mills, has nothing better to offer Ghanaians than to steer them into hardship.

He said since the NDC took over power to rule the country most Ghanaian businesses had collapse because of the bad policies they had imposed on the Ghanaian economy.“The better Ghana agenda of the NDC is to sack people from offices and victimize them for being supporters of other political parties, especially, the New Patriotic Party (NPP), he said.

He said that, “President Kufuor brought a lot of development and created more jobs for the youth through the School Feeding Programme, the Capitation Grant, National Youth Employment Programme (NYEP), National Health Insurance (NHIS), so many more we cannot mention, but today where are they?”, he asked.

Mr. Agyepong was addressing delegates of the NPP at the Nkwanta North constituency in the Volta Region to introduce Mr. Alan John Kyeremanten, who is contesting for the NPP’s flagbearership. Mr. Kwabena Agyepong, who was press secretary to former president Kufuor for over six years, urged the NPP delegates to help vote the NDC out of power by electing Mr. Kyeremanten on August 7, 2010 as the flagbearer of the NPP.

He said very soon all the projects that were started and paid for by the Kufuor led-NPP administration would be ready “you will see Prof. Mills cutting the sod to commission them and you will think they were the NDC projects,” he noted.

Mr. Kwabena Agyepong noted that the NDC government lacks the capacity to raise funds to build such infrastructure around the country within one and half years, when they said the Kufuor led NPP government had lavished themselves with state funds and left nothing in the coffers.
“This exposes the lies opt the NDC as well as their incompetence. We should elect Mr. Kyeremanten to vote them out of power to save Ghanaians from this “care for the few government,” he ended.
