Voting ends in New Juaben North & South and Nabdam

As tensions rise following allegations of inducement at various constituencies of the NPP in the ongoing presidential primaries, some centers have successfully ended voting.

Citi News can confirm that voting has ended in the following constituencies; New Juaben North and New Juaben South in the Eastern Region and Nabdam Constituency in the Upper East Region.

Voting in the abovementioned areas were said to be peaceful and calm.

In the New Juaben North Constituency, out of the expected 263 delegates, 260 came to vote. Three (3) delegates are said to be absent.

In Nabdam, of the 190 delegates, 188 have exercised their right to vote. 2 delegates were suspended.

The Electoral Commission officials can only start counting the votes at 3:00 pm later today.

The final declaration of the winner after all results are put together will be declared at the Efua Sutherland Park in Accra.
