A book by the brother of deceased Colombian drug kingpin Pablo Escobar claims that the late druglord banked millions upon millions of dollars in financial institutions in Switzerland. Escobar's cash stashes are currently the subject of feverish searches in Colombia, but more interesting is whether the Swiss revelations will further embolden the EU and the US to put an end to bank secrecy and non-transparency earlier, rather than later.
