The Human Rights Watch has appealed to US President Barack Obama to use his 'much publicized' visit to Ghana to urge that country to take leadership role on issues such as democracy, justice and human rights. - Georgette Gagnon, Africa Director at HRW said: "Ghana's progress on human rights is commendable, but it will have little meaning if left as an isolated example," adding that "President Obama should encourage Ghana to promote abroad what it practices at home."
