The king says President Mills won the hearts of many Ghanaians because of his humility and kindness and asked President Mahama to do same. The Otumfuo gave the advice when the Ashanti Regional Security Council, led by the Regional Minister, called on him to officially inform him of the passing of President Mills. Spokesman for the regional minister, Francis Dodovi, told Luv News the visit was in line with tradition. "The honorable regional minister acted upon instruction by from his Excellency the president. "Otumfou was sad and shocked and paid a glowing tribute to his Excellency Prof John Evans Atta Mills and most significantly he recounted how humble his Excellency was and how he comes to him in times of difficulty to seek wise guidance and advice," stated. He said the Otumfuo has pledged his commitment to be part of the funeral arrangement of the president. |
