Majority And Minority In A Consensus Tribute To Late President Mills

As Parliament mourns with the nation on the sudden death of Professor John Evans Atta Mills, the Deputy Majority Leader in parliament Rashid Pelpou has assured Ghanaians that the death will not affect the work of Parliament.

He described the untimely death of Professor Mills as a call for Ghanaians to confront the reality and stand united as one people.

Meanwhile, Minority MPs continue to pour out eulogies for the late President Mills.

First, as a former student of the law lecturer, MP for Nsuta-Kwamang Beposo, Kwame Osei-Prempeh said President Mills virtues run through his life.

MP for Takoradi Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah said party allegiances must be relegated to the background now.

The MP for Weija, Shirley Botchway said though she didn't have a personal relationship with President Mills, he really endeared himself to everyone.
