NPP Vice Chairman Shot Dead

logoThe first Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic party (NPP) at Dome Kwabenya constituency, , a suburb of Accra, Mr. OPoku Baah is reported to have been shot in cold blood this dawn by an armed gang believed to be robbers.

Speaking on Peace M’s morning show, Kokrokoo, the MP for the area, Hon. Mike Ocquaye confirmed the unfortunate incident and added that some armed rubbers also came to rob a bank in the area yesterday. He revealed that, Mr. Baah’s jewelry and other belongings were taking away.

The professor is therefore appealing to the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr. Paul Tawiah Quaye to deploy security personnel to the area to safeguard life and property and also help in investigations.

Meanwhile it has been confirmed that Mr OPoku Baah has died allegedly as a result of injuries he sustained.
