A Deputy General Secretary of the ruling NDC, Kofi Adams has said the government must wake up and address the concerns of its dissatisfied foot soldiers.

He said unleashing the security agencies on agitated foot-soldiers can only worsen the party’s problems.

Since the NDC came into power, its foot soldiers have seized public toilets, NHIS offices and demanded the dismissal of some DCEs.

Some government officials have condemned their actions but Kofi Adams believes such condemnation is misplaced.

He said suggestions that supporters were manipulated into taking the actions they took was gibberish.

“Do you think they know their left from their right? They know they left from right. If they feel that” their interest is not being properly protected they will protest, he said.
