Mumuni@CapeCoast

NEW. Watch live television from Ghana, the latest Ghanaian movies and OBE TV.Information reaching the Statesman indicates that the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Cooperation, Alhaji Mohammed Mumuni has suffered a Cerebral Vascular Attack (aka stroke).

Although details are sketchy, this paper can confirm that Alhaji Mumuni has been flown to the United States of America for treatment.

Alhaji Mumuni, whose nomination and approval as a minister of State continues to generate controversy following objections raised by the Alliance for Accountable Governance who say he was involved in financial malfeasance while he was the Minister for Employment in the previous NDC government, is the former MP for Kumbungu.

He was also Prof John Atta Mills's running mate in the 2004 elections.
