NPP ends balloting: Prof Frimpong-Boateng is No. 1

 
 
  
 
The biggest opposition party, New Patriotic Party (NPP), has concluded balloting for its five presidential aspirants held at the party’s headquarters in Accra, Friday.

Former Chief Executive Officer of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, Professor Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng, took the number position on the ballot paper for the NPP’s presidential primary scheduled for August 7 this year.

Second on the paper is NPP Member of Parliament (MP) for Subin, Mr. Isaac Osei. He is followed by Kumasi-based legal practitioner, Apostle John Kwame Koduah.

Former Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr Alan Kyerematen, took the fourth place.

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the party’s presidential candidate in the 2008 elections, had the fifth position on the paper.
