"Integrity, transparency and accountability must be at the root of our development so we do not lose our sense of responsibility and undermine our stability.” These are fine words but multinational oil corporations do not understand them. You do not need to look far. Just go to Nigeria and ask how whether the corrupt cartels understand those words. They make billions of profit from oil every year yet the countries where they make their billions are poor. Why?
