The editor in-chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Mr. Kweku Baako, has described ex-president Rawlings as a “licensed irritant and a walking contradiction” who has to be ignored. “He is a licensed irritant…to his own people. He is a split personality and a walking contradiction, he’s everything negative. I don’t want to waste my intellectual energy on him this morning. If I have to talk about him, the show will probably never end,” Mr Baako said on Peace FM’s Morning Show, “Kokrokoo”. He had earlier reluctantly agreed to comment on the issue. Mr Baako was reacting to the former President’s outburst in Kumasi when he addressed a youth wing of the NDC, the United Cadres Front (UCF). Ex-Prez Rawlings is reported to have said that there is disillusion among the people due to the government style of President Mills which lacks a revolutionary spirit. It would be recalled that Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Mr. Kwesi Pratt, descended heavily on the former President yesterday on the same platform. By John Nyaaba/peacefmonline |
