Ghana: Vodafone cuts call rates by 7.5%

Accra, July 22, GNA - Vodafone Ghana announced on Wednesday that it has cut its call rates to other mobile networks with immediate effect.

A statement issued by the Corporate Communications Department said a call from Vodafone to other mobile networks now cost 14.4 Ghana pesewas, down from 15.56 Ghana pesewas per minute.

It said the offer was intended to both "gain new customers and increase the convenience for existing customers, as there is no more need to swap the chip when calling other networks".
