Insist on Your Right to Education

Uneducated citizenry is like a pitch any game can be played on it. Illiteracy is what has given the politicians in Ghana the chance to fool so many people for so a long a time.

What is Mills complaining about?

I am amazed by the complaints of President Mills government that it cannot do anything because there are debts in the country. Why can't he concentrate to eradicate the corruption that has marred his administration. The problems in the country which Mills has decided to ignore can be found in his government seeking spiritual solution for problems that are not spiritual is the cause of the problem. But the problems at hand are not spiritual they have come about as a result of incompetence, weak leadership, lack of government agenda, factionism in the ruling NDC, corruption, too many square pegs in round holes, government hostile confrontation and attitude towards members of the opposition whose partnership and cooperation the government needs to be able to deliver the change it promised the people. These are the problems the government must deal with as matter of necessity if it intends to make headway”.

Where is President Mills leadership in driving our country forward? Where is his policy on energy, education, health and agriculture? Well he has chosen not to do anything or at least he is powerless to do anything, preferring instead to blame his predecessor's administration for making it impossible for him to deliver on his campaign promises. An excuse that Ghanaians seem not to buy. President Mills and his Ministers have so far not shown any sign that they are in full control of the economy or the affairs of the country. Simply put Ghanaians cannot associate President Mills' administration with any new project, programme or even a sign that his administration is maintaining the condition that existed before they took over power.
