Soldiers Busted For Robbery
Two military men, L/Cpl Paul Wekem Kotuah and L/Cpl Tsibu Etornam Eric from the Takoradi Air Force Base in the Western Region, have been arrested for alleged robbery.
The two have been detained at the Regional Police Headquarters and would be processed for court tomorrow.
The Regional Police Commander, Rose Bio Atingah told the press that the two in the company of two others stormed a private residence at Weija, Accra, in an alleged robbery attempt and in the process, were arrested through the vigilance of residents who shouted for help.
The police are pursuing the two others who are at large while the case is being investigated.
The two engaged the Regional Commander in an argument that it was against laid-down procedure to be tried by the police, and sought to suggest that they should be released to the military; a view which was countered by the police boss that they being military men does not put them above the law and therefore they would be arraigned to face the charges.

We always blame Nigerians for terrorizing us not knowing it is our own soldiers and police officers who are trained to protect us.
