Strange Happenings At Hohoe
Residents of Hohoe are living in fear after a final-year student of the St. Francis College of Education alleged that he mysteriously found himself lying between two graves in the local cemetery following a handshake with two unknown youngmen in their 20s.
Before this latest incident, rumours were rife in the municipality to the effect that someone was turned into a motor-cycle through magical powers a few weeks earlier.
Mr Richard Mayer, 24, victim of the latest incident, told the Ghana News Agency that the young men whom he met on the Hohoe Government Hospital road last Saturday at about 8:00 p.m engaged him in conversation regarding the current rainfall pattern.
He said he told the two “mysterious friends” that the rainfall pattern was an act of God after which they shook hands only for him to regain consciousness at the Gbi-Bla cemetery lying in-between graves.
Mr Mayer said he has since been having irregular sleeps and nightmares.
Reverend William Sarkoe, Pastor of the Hohoe E.P Church, said this could sometimes happen depending on the individual involved and that Christians must seek God’s protection always through constant prayers.
