Insist on Your Right to Education

Uneducated citizenry is like a pitch any game can be played on it. Illiteracy is what has given the politicians in Ghana the chance to fool so many people for so a long a time.

Work hard For NDC To Succeed

By GNA

Prof Mills

Alhaji Gado Sulemana, a leading member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Kumasi, has called on the leadership of the party to work hard for it to succeed.

“Ghanaians expect a lot from the party following its campaign promises and there is no way they can escape than to satisfy the needs of the people and continue to stay in power,” he said.

In an interview with the GNA in Kumasi on Friday, Alhaji Gado appealed to President John Atta Mills to ensure that ambassadors who would be posted would serve Ghanaians at home and abroad.

He said he appreciated the President’s efforts in putting things in place for the smooth take-off of the economy and urged all Ghanaians to support him.

Alhaji Gado, who turned the interview into prayer, prayed to God to give President Mills the blessing and courage to lead the country and also prayed that God protected Ghanaians against the various natural disasters that are hitting the nation.

He also prayed that God protect security agencies in their fight against armed robbery and other criminal activities to ensure that people go about their duties in peace and tranquility.

Alhaji Gado prayed for a peaceful Hajj this year and appealed to the Hajj Committee to work assiduously so that this time round no pilgrim face any difficulty in performing the Hajj.
